We have an outstanding career opportunity in the Schodack Landing, NY area for a driven, successful leader with 1-3 years of increasing management responsibility in the distribution/logistic fields; with an emphasis on selecting.
Successful candidates will handle the daily supervision of a 80 person warehouse crew, reporting to the Site Manager. We provide selecting and auditing services for our client in a grocery distribution center. This operation runs 7 days a week, must be available to work day or night shifts and weekends.
Daily responsibilities will cover:
Solution based, positive communication with on site customers
Scheduling of personnel based on client-supplied schedules
Supervison of a team of selectors
Running shift with safety and efficiency as priorities
Conducting audits and supervising audits of the selection process
Creation of daily work logs and transmission of same to corporate
Audit of daily labor and billing reports
Must pass all pre-employment background screenings
