Manages cell build rates using heijunka (level-loading). Kanban management and right sizing. Assist with PSI and demand planning. Custom/spike planning and expedites. New product introduction (NPI) materials management. Continuous improvement/DMP participation. Manage proper inventory transactions and accuracy. Complete non-negotiated purchasing transactions as assigned. Assist with material handling and transactional activities throughout the plant as assigned. OTHER FUNCTIONS May be transferred to various assignments within production, dependant upon workload, at the sole discretion of the Director of Operations. RELATIONSHIPS Frequently works with other production associates, customer service representatives, product engineers, manufacturing engineers, and commodity managers.
