This position requires one or more security related certifications and previous experience writing policy for a mid to large multisite organization that was subjected to security audits and questionaires and was required to conform to regulatory and best practice guidelines like HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST, FIMA, SAS70. The successful candidate will not only understand security from an infrastructure perspective, but will come from a company with internal application development team and will also understand security from an applications (SDLC) standpoint. Client is not looking for an IT Manager who does it all. They are looking for someone whose focus and passion is security. This job is 20% staff supervision, 20% project mgmt, 25% hands on testing, 35% policy creation, enforcement and training.

Position Overview
The Production Planner/Buyer manages the efficient scheduling of factory production and coordinates the necessary flow of raw materials and packaging on a day-today basis. This position plays a major role in maximizing order fill rates, optimizing scheduled labor, minimizing excess finished good/raw material inventories and supporting the Plant Manager in driving overall plant efficiencies.
Key Job Responsibilities:
· All production F/G planning and scheduling activities.
· Maintenance of inventory stock levels within stated company guidelines, including:
o Finished goods
o Raw materials/ingredients
o Packaging supplies
· Consistently meeting or exceeding targeted inventory turnover and scheduling efficiency performance metrics.
· Processing purchase orders for all packaging and raw material supplies (non-maintenance related).
· Assisting the Director of Purchasing with:
o Managing supplier relations at the local level.
o Identifying ways to decrease costs and/or improve ingredient quality
o Locating and managing alternate sources for all critical raw materials, standards, and outside purchasing to support production objectives while achieving cost standards.
· Actively serve on the company’s lean manufacturing/continuous improvement steering team.
· Working with QA department to ensure all incoming raw material and finished good inventories are within stated company quality guidelines and food safety requirements.

Prepare and communicate schedules for the press and cast areas that satisfy the requirements of manufacturing, distribution and our customers, utilizing the IDS order management system. Insure that film and other necessary materials are available to produce customer orders in an efficient and timely manner.

6. Print and distribute line schedules to support and production areas in a timely manner.
7. Print and distribute film, backlog and scheduling reports in a timely manner.
8. Maintain understanding of manufcturing capabilities of different machines.
9. Attend appropriate meetings and participate as a team member or resource for continuous imporovement initiatives as needed.
